It's been a while

Hooray for long weekends and good company! It's been a while since I went out with friends (because everyone is so busy with thesis and other academic related things), so I really missed being out. I also got to experience Ina's outfit documentation frustrations when it's night time. I now completely understand and have even more respect for her.

Jacket: A gift from my mom. She got this jacket from Nepo Mall in Angeles City, Pampanga. I'm not quite sure which store, though. My cousin Kevin picked it out for me! 

Top: Forever 21 P800

The top is actually a dress that I tucked into my shorts, so it would look like a shirt.

Hand Bag: Borrowed from mom. It says "Plaid isn't bad". I think it's funny.

Necklace: This necklace is actually a surprise birthday gift from a friend. She had it shipped all the way from the Philippines to LA (because I stayed there for a little while the other year). I love wearing this because it reminds me of my dad.

Shorts: I got these shorts from a thrift shop along Barangka Drive near Boni Avenue. Here is a map of how to get there, if you're interested. Just take Boni until you reach the McDonalds after Rizal Technological University and turn left to Barangka Drive.

These babies arrived today. I am happy and satisfied. Expect to see them with some outfits very soon!

I just wanted to look nice that day.

...because it was August 11 last week, and I've been saving this dress for something important. Okay, I'm sure only people who know me will understand the first sentence, but that day is very important to me for reasons. 

But since there was a number of natural calamities, it felt weird to go out, so we didn't anymore. But I still made an outfit for that day anyway! 

Again, another super simple outfit. Since this was supposed to be a date outfit, I want the focus to be me, and not so much everything else, hence the light makeup and very minimal accessories. 

Remember what I said about my face being derp in shots like this? Yeah, It really is derp. Haha! But I really do love the back of this dress! It's oh so very loverly.

Earrings: Penshoppe P270 (it comes in a set, with other kinds of earrings!)

"Dale, make them look like they're talking to each other!" Because I made Dale adjust the birds so that they'd face each other.

Dress: Forever 21 P979

I really absolutely super love this dress! The print, the shape, the cut, everything! And it helps that I feel a little extra girly, and perky, and bubbly when I'm in it (I don't know why, I just do).

Dale and I, we're ninjas

Because when Dale and I were scheduled to shoot, the weather wasn't cooperative, so we decided to find a place in school instead. Hence, ninjas, since our school has a very strict dress-code. This outfit is super simple, because I really wanted to focus on the dress, and not so much with accessories and heavy makeup. 

Lips: Ever Bilena's matte line in Mauve

Dress: Jellybean P500 

I absolutely love this dress. It was such a steal! And it's incredibly comfortable, too. I am really in love with this brand, okay? They have so many nice things. Things, meaning dresses, shoes, bags, and everything. So things = everything, I guess.

Oh right, and it shows my lower back all sneaky-like. My face is always so very awkward in shots like this. :(
